Сугубо моё мнение , нельзя определить самого умного математика . потому что математика это очень большой предмет. и каждый ученый и педагог развит в математике в каком то направление а не во всех )) так что думаю нельзя определить этого !)

The Smartest Mathematician in the World

Determining the smartest mathematician in the world is subjective and can vary depending on different criteria and perspectives. However, there are several mathematicians who are widely recognized for their significant contributions to the field. Here are a few notable mathematicians:

1. Isaac Newton: Isaac Newton was an English mathematician, physicist, and astronomer who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists in history. He made groundbreaking contributions to calculus, mechanics, and the laws of motion.

2. Leonhard Euler: Leonhard Euler was a Swiss mathematician who made significant contributions to various branches of mathematics, including calculus, number theory, and graph theory. He is known for his prolific output and the development of Euler's formula, which relates complex numbers, trigonometry, and exponential functions.

3. Carl Friedrich Gauss: Carl Friedrich Gauss was a German mathematician who made significant contributions to many areas of mathematics, including number theory, algebra, and statistics. He is known for his work on prime numbers, the Gaussian distribution, and the development of the method of least squares.

4. Évariste Galois: Évariste Galois was a French mathematician who made groundbreaking contributions to the theory of equations and group theory. His work laid the foundation for modern algebra and Galois theory, which is essential in understanding the solvability of polynomial equations.

5. Andrew Wiles: Andrew Wiles is a British mathematician who is known for proving Fermat's Last Theorem, a problem that had remained unsolved for over 350 years. His proof involved advanced techniques from number theory and algebraic geometry.

It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive, and there are many other brilliant mathematicians who have made significant contributions to the field. The notion of "smartness" in mathematics is multifaceted and can be interpreted in various ways. Different mathematicians excel in different areas, and their contributions collectively shape the field of mathematics.
