2. There are a lot of reasons actually and one of them is dress code for example you can go to the job interview just wearing a t-shirt and trousers. The same reason is applied to physical exercises you can just do exercises with a suit and dress which is really make this pretty uncomfortable.

3. It depends on situation for example I prefer to wear jeans and jacket when I go out with my friends. And also dresses when there is an important event like wedding or someone's birthday.
