Its shell, a shield against the world, Protects its tender soul. A fortress, beautifully curved, Where secrets, only it does hold.

Through the ages it has roamed, Witnessing the earth's grand tale. From ancient times to modern homes, Its wisdom it does unveil.

In its eyes, a timeless gaze, Reflecting wisdom beyond compare. A creature of a different phase, Patiently teaching us to bear.

For in its slowness, we can learn, To appreciate the present hour. To savor moments, not to yearn, And find in stillness, inner power.
