A unique portable Cd-player which provides audio commentaries to almost every painting displayed on the main floor. Available at no obligatory charge at the main entrance and Sainshury Wing foyer, it allows visitors to call up information on pictures og their choice. A highlights tour of 30 great paintings is available in six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Computer Information Room: 'Micro Gallery'. A computerised information system of the entire Collection enabling visitors to expore individual areas of interest whether it is a particular painting, artist, period or subject matter.
