Я ніколи раніше не цікавився українською міфологією, алe нeщодавно я дізнався, що від украінськоі міфологіі аж дух захоплює. Мeні найбільшe подобається такий гeрой як Вій.Мeні найбільшe подобається такий гeрой як Вій.Вій — мабуть найпопулярніший персонаж української міфології. Про нього ходили легенди, про нього писали книги, про нього знімали кіно. І не дарма, адже від розповідей про нього дійсно йдуть мурашки по тілу.Вія описували як потворну істоту з величезними очима, густими бровами, довгими віями та важкими повіками. Сам він був не в силах розплющити очі, тож йому з цим допомагали два силача. Але коли все ж його очі піднімались, то погляд ставав вбивчим для всього, що опиниться на його шляху: гинули люди, знищувались цілі села та міста.Можна припустити, що така легенда виникла як наслідок віри у нищівну силу «зурочення», дії «злого ока» він догляду якого все псується.Ймовірно, ім’я цього чудовиська походить від слова «вії», які були у нього неприродньо довгі.
Що з цього вигадка, а що правда, ми вже мабуть і не дізнаємось ніколи, але легенди про деяких міфічних істот, хоч і дещо змінились, та все ж дійшли до наших часів. Тож ми маємо можливість дізнатись, які міфічні створіння раніше наводили жах на наших предків, а які їх оберігали.
