Spring is a wonderful time of year. In spring, days become longer and warmer, snow starts melting and trees begin to blossom. We can finally feel the awakening of nature. The weather in spring changes quite often. At the beginning of March, there still are many snowy days, and in the end May, the weather is just a bit colder than it is summer. In April, there are a lot of rainy and windy days but, fortunately, it almost never rains the whole day. Some people say that they hate this type of weather but I can never agree with them. Personally, I love spring. I am not even against rainy days because I know that nature benefits from them and flowers start to appear. In spring, you can also listen to birds singing and making their nests. There are lots of things you can do at this time of year. You can go and jump in the puddles while it's raining. You can finally, after a long wait, go cycling or roller-skating. Or you can just go for a walk and breathe fresh air. And have you ever noticed that there's something special in the air in spring? And then, there are spring holidays. In March, we celebrate All Women's Day and I always make creative presents for my Mum. In April, there is Easter and my family and I usually paint eggs and eat an Easter cake. And in May, we have May holidays, which we usually spend in our country house. All in all, these are a few reasons why I like spring and it indeed is my favourite time of year.
