Both forms are soluble in water. When copper chloride dissolves in water, it dissociates into copper ions (Cu2+) and chloride ions (Cl-), resulting in a blue-green solution. This solution can conduct electricity due to the presence of ions.
Therefore, both Zn and CuCl2 can dissolve in water, forming soluble compounds.
