И протекавшая рядом речка, казалось, тоже решила вздремнуть — она журчала тихо-тихо, и даже громогласные лягушки и звонкие сверчки — эти ночные певцы — квакали и стрекотали тихо, просто наполняя влажный воздух ровным звуком. На полянку и речушку опустился туман. Спокойствие и умиротворение царило на земле, давая возможность отдохнуть и набраться сил всем, кто лег спать. Луна призрачно просвечивала бледно-желтым светом сквозь влажную пелену тумана. Ее контуры были расплывчаты и обманчивы. Спать… . Спать… . — вдыхала ночь. А над рекой собирался влажный туман, закрывая от лягушек и стрекочущих цикад бледно-золотистое свечение луны. И Капелька была частью этого тумана. Она висела в воздухе туманным облачком, чтобы на утро проснуться капелькой росы в чашечке цветка. «Я уже была туманом… » — сквозь сон подумала Капелька.
