В последний день занятий перед зимними каникулами учительница задала задание: описать самый счастливый день каникул.

Главный герой- мальчик-подросток начинает свои каникулы с большой ссоры родителей прямо в новогоднюю ночь. Несколько дней мальчик не мог помирить родителей, хотя очень старался: прибирал в доме, делал зарядку, даже закалялся. В доме было тихо и спокойно, но родители не разговаривали между собой.
