Ответы на вопрос

Results of the Great Northern War for Russia
The Great Northern War between Russia and Sweden lasted from 1700 to 1721. It resulted in a decisive victory for Russia and had major consequences.
Russia gained control of territories along the Baltic coast, including Ingria, Estonia, Livonia and parts of Karelia This gave Russia access to the Baltic Sea for the first time and established it as the dominant power in Northern Europe. Sweden's dominance in the region was ended after over 200 years.
The war helped strengthen Russia's position internationally. It marked the beginning of Russia as a major European power under Tsar Peter the Great. Peter carried out domestic reforms to modernize and westernize Russia during and after the war, establishing Saint Petersburg as the new capital.
Results for the rest of Europe
The war weakened Sweden and reduced its influence. It lost its empire in Northern Europe and German territories like Bremen and Verden. This created a power vacuum that other states like Prussia exploited to gain more territory and power in the region.
The war also had wider geopolitical consequences. It tilted the balance of power in Northern Europe in Russia's favor and began a period of Russian expansion westward in later decades.
