В степи деревьев нет.В лесу есть множество грибов ,ягод и т.д,но в степи этого всего нет,поэтому белке сложно будет найти себе пищу и нормальное место для ночлега ,да и в целом для дальнейшего проживания.Поэтому белки и не селятся в степных зонах.
