The lamb cried that the wolf could not have met him six months before because he was only four months old. But the wolf cut him short saing that if it had not been the lamb, it had been his brother. And with these words he seized the poor lamb and carried it into the wood.

Был жаркий день. Солнце ярко светило на голубом небе. Встретились волк и ягненок у ручья. Вода в ручье была прохладной и чистой. Волк увидел, что ягненок был пухлым и захотел съесть его. Он начал кричать: "Ты, глупец, ты мутишь воду!"

Ягненок испугался. Он посмотрел на волка и сказал тонким голосом: "Но, господин Волк, я не могу помутить воду для вас с места, где я стою, потому что ручей течет от вас ко мне."
