When mother had completed her list of grocery items, she went to the florist's to buy flowers. I preferred the bookshop, so we went different ways. I bought a story book and some birthday cards. By that time mother had selected her flowers. Together, we left the place. Feeling thirsty, we adjourned to a coffee-house nearby and ordered a cold lemonade each.

The emporium was our last stop. Here we added some T-shirts and shorts. By now, we were tired and heavily loaded. So we took a taxi home. I enjoy shopping with mother on a Saturday.
