The second is the data bank, or information library, which provides users with rates, routings, customs requirements, hazardous-cargo requirements, tracking and the myriad information needed to ship cargo throughout the world. Anyone using the system will be able to sit at a single computer terminal and send and/or receive all necessary data for the shipment of a piece of cargo.9. The communication-networking function also “translates” the incoming message into the appropriate language for transmittal.10.
