I like to wander through the winter forest, but there are a lot of snowdrifts and I do not want to fall into them.
So I just get on my skis, pick up my sticks, and go into the winter forest on skis. The snow creaks under the skis, is crushed. You can't develop much speed, but you don't need it for such a walk. It is much more pleasant just to walk slowly between the spruce trees wrapped in snow coats and casually knock down their fur hats. The main thing at this time is not to get caught in an avalanche, which of course is not as dangerous as in the mountains, but can fall asleep to the waist and then how to get out?
The winter forest is very quiet and peaceful. The sun shines through the branches of the trees, the snow sparkles in the glades and darkens near the trunks. Here and there you can see the tracks of some animals.
A squirrel ran across the road and I waved a stick at it. Somewhere a woodpecker began to chatter, but then stopped. But under the Christmas tree there is a whole pile of lumps from cones-birds clearly ruled here.
I didn't manage to go far into the forest, but I didn't want to, because the main thing for me is just to have a good rest and enjoy the winter nature. And it is best to do this on skis, because then you can go to places where people do not go in winter and can see the winter life of the inhabitants of the forest.

Title: A Snowy Adventure: Ski Trip to Remember
It was a crisp winter morning when our school's annual ski trip finally arrived. Excitement buzzed through the air as we gathered in the school courtyard, all bundled up in our warmest winter gear. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden hue over the snow-covered landscape, promising a day filled with adventure.
Our bus rumbled to life, and we all scrambled on board, chattering and giggling with anticipation. The journey to the ski resort was filled with laughter, music, and the occasional snowball fight among friends. As we approached our destination, the towering pine trees laden with snow came into view, and our excitement reached a fever pitch.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the sight of the ski resort's magnificent lodge. It was a cozy haven nestled among the snow-covered mountains, with large windows that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. We couldn't wait to get our rental gear and hit the slopes.
After a quick lesson from our instructors on the basics of skiing, we were off. The feeling of gliding down the mountain, the cold wind in our faces, and the crunch of the snow beneath our skis was exhilarating. The beginners, like me, tumbled and stumbled, but with each fall, we got right back up, determined to conquer the slopes.
As the day progressed, we divided into smaller groups based on our skill levels. The more experienced skiers challenged themselves on the steeper, more advanced runs, while the beginners enjoyed the gentler slopes, gradually gaining confidence. Our instructors provided guidance and encouragement every step of the way, making sure we were all safe and having fun.
Lunchtime came, and we gathered in the lodge to refuel and share stories of our morning adventures. The scent of hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies wafted through the air as we enjoyed a warm meal. It was the perfect opportunity to bond with our classmates and make new friends.
After lunch, we were back on the slopes, racing each other and trying daring tricks. The day seemed to fly by, and as the sun began to set, we reluctantly made our way back to the lodge. The sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among us was palpable. We had all improved our skiing skills and made memories that would last a lifetime.
That evening, we huddled around a roaring fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and sharing stories of our adventures. The flickering firelight cast dancing shadows on the lodge's wooden beams, creating a cozy and magical atmosphere.
As we boarded the bus for the journey back home, we were tired but elated. Our ski trip had been a true winter wonderland adventure, filled with laughter, challenges, and the joy of conquering the snowy slopes. It was a day none of us would ever forget, a day that reminded us of the beauty and excitement of winter, and a day that brought our school community closer together.
