Taras Shevchenko

He was born at March 9, 1814(one thousand eight hundred and fourteen) in the village of Moryntsi in Kyiv into a enslaved peasant family.

His Childhood years were spent in the village of Kerelivka.

When he left alone and became  an orphan, he went to hire a deacon Bohorsky, who arrived from Kyiv.

Unable to bear the bullying of the deacon, Taras runs away from him

In 1828(one thousand eight hundred twenty-eight) he was taken as a  servant to the manor in the Vilshan villlage.

When May of 1843(one thousand eight hundred forty-three) comes, he left St. Petersburg and goes to Ukraine.

He was arrested two times, the first time was in April 5, 1847(one thousand eight hundred forty-seven) and the second-one was in  April 1850(one thousand eight hundred and fifty).

His last years he spent being under arrest and  at March 10, 1861(one thousand eight hundred sixty-one) he died.
