Karaganda is one of the young cities of Kazakhstan , it was founded in 1930 as a mining town and in 1934 became a city. Today Karaganda is a modern , industrial and cultural center of Kazakhstan . There is a large number of cinemas, theaters and museums, which are the sightseeing of the city of Karaganda. I will perform some of them.

1. Palace of culture of miners is one of the main attractions of Karaganda. It was built in 1940 , and in 1952 was put into operation . Almost all important events of the country take place in this theatre.

2. The monument " Where, where? " - " In Karaganda ". The most unusual monument is located in Karaganda on Gogol Street . Monument is known for the popular phrase " Where, where? " - " In Karaganda ".

3. Russian Drama Theatre named after K.S. Stanislavsky. The theater was founded in 1930 and only in 1963 it was named after the great director and actor – K.S. Stanislavsky . In 1981 this theathre was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples.

4. Karaganda regional Kazakh Drama Theatre named after S. Seifullin . Regional Kazakh Drama Theatre was established in 1932 . In 1964 the theater was named after the talanted figure of the Kazakh literature S.Seifullin . The theater staged the play by M. Auezov G.Musrepov , S.Mukanov Kazakh and other playwrights .
