Тут просят написать свое мнение, но раз тебе сложно выражать его на английском, то можешь воспользоваться моим:

1) We are living in peaceful times, political and cultural borders are slowly dissolving and humanity is working hard together to move technology, medicine, culture and science in general forward, not just for their country, but for the whole world, and for this cosmopolitan system a global language is needed, (2) albeit a lot of people are still less smart/benevolent/understanding then the other ones, and for them learning to speak to everybody in the world would be a disaster for us. In my opinion, there must be a global language, but other ones shouldn't perish, as so uniqueness of the whole nations and their culture will become extinct. (3) English is becoming the most prevalent language out of all, and, as for me, it seems quite good-functioning for this role, it is very rich, diverse, flexible  and really easy-to-learn, which are the fundamental characteristics of the global language. (4) From my perspective, in the next 20-50 years English will definitely be set as a global language, although I'm not sure if it'll stay this way later on, humanity is developing rather fast and so a new language could occur, easier and more flexible, actually there are a few existing already, the most famous example - Esperanto, developed in the late 19th century by L. L. Zamenhof, which took him 10 years.

  1. The Necessity of a Global Language: A global language can facilitate communication and understanding among people from different linguistic backgrounds, enhancing international cooperation, trade, and cultural exchange. While not an absolute necessity, having a common global language can significantly ease interactions and bridge the language barrier.

  2. Advantages and Disadvantages of a Global Language: Advantages:

  • Improved international communication and understanding.
  • Simplified business transactions and global trade.
  • Easier dissemination of knowledge and information.
  • Streamlined travel and tourism experiences.

Disadvantages:

  • Threat to linguistic diversity and minority languages.
  • Cultural homogenization and loss of cultural identity.
  • Potential dominance of one culture over others.
  • Unequal access to opportunities for non-native speakers.
  1. English as a Global Language: English has emerged as the de facto global language due to historical, economic, and political reasons. Its widespread usage in various domains like business, science, technology, and entertainment has made it an effective lingua franca.

  2. Predictions about a Global Language of the Future: a) 20 years: English is likely to remain the dominant global language, solidifying its position due to continued globalization and the internet's prevalence.

b) 50 years: While English might still hold a strong global presence, there could be increased recognition and promotion of other major languages like Chinese, Spanish, or Hindi due to the rise of emerging economies.

c) 70 years: The linguistic landscape may become more diverse, with multiple languages sharing the status of global languages, leading to increased multilingualism in international interactions.

d) etc. years time: It's challenging to predict beyond 70 years, as the future geopolitical and technological changes could significantly impact the choice of a global language. However, the world might see an even more diverse language scenario with new languages gaining prominence in various regions.

Please note that these predictions are speculative and subject to various unpredictable factors. The dominance of a global language depends on the evolving dynamics of international relations, technology, and cultural shifts over time.
