Hello, I am Zhanbolat, this is my travelling blog! I travelled to Nur-Sultan by plane. I have been there one week. I have visited many amazing sights like Bayterek, Han Shatyr. I went on top of the Bayterek and I saw whole city from there, it was beautiful view! Also I visited Han Shatyr. But my favourite place was Bayterek, because it was very incredible view from the top of it. I have met lots of friendly people in Nur-Sultan. I made lots of new friends!

Title: Journey of Discovery: Exploring the Wonders of Southeast Asia

Hello, fellow wanderers! I'm currently writing to you from a charming little cafe in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I've found a moment to reflect on my incredible journey through Southeast Asia. It's been an exhilarating adventure so far, and I can't wait to share my experiences with you.

Where Have I Traveled? I've been on the road for a total of 35 days, exploring the enchanting countries of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. Each of these countries has offered a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that has left me in awe.

How Many Days Have I Been Traveling? As mentioned, I've been on the road for 35 days. Time has flown by so quickly, and every day has been filled with new experiences and discoveries.

How Far Have I Traveled? The total distance covered in this journey is approximately 4,500 miles (7,242 kilometers). It's incredible to think about the vast landscapes and diverse cultures I've encountered along the way.

What Places Have I Visited? I've had the privilege of exploring some amazing places during this trip:

  1. Bangkok, Thailand: The bustling streets, grand temples, and vibrant street markets made for an unforgettable start to my journey.

  2. Angkor Wat, Cambodia: Watching the sunrise over the magnificent Angkor Wat temple complex was a surreal experience. Exploring the ancient ruins of Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm was equally captivating.

  3. Hanoi, Vietnam: The chaotic yet charming streets of Hanoi, along with a memorable cruise through Halong Bay, provided a wonderful taste of Vietnamese culture and landscapes.

  4. Hue and Hoi An, Vietnam: The imperial history of Hue and the quaint, lantern-lit streets of Hoi An were both highlights of my time in Vietnam.

  5. Luang Prabang, Laos: This UNESCO World Heritage-listed town nestled along the Mekong River offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The alms-giving ceremony and Kuang Si Falls were incredible experiences.

  6. Chiang Mai, Thailand: The lush landscapes surrounding Chiang Mai and the vibrant night markets have made this city one of my favorites on the trip.

What Have Been My Favorite Places? It's challenging to pick just one favorite place from this journey. Each destination had its own charm and unique appeal. However, if I had to choose, I'd say that the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia left the deepest impression on me. The sheer grandeur and intricate details of the temples, coupled with their historical significance, made it an unforgettable experience.

What Have I Seen and Haven't Seen? During my travels, I've been fortunate to see a wide range of cultural landmarks, natural wonders, and local traditions. However, there are still so many more places I want to explore in this region, such as the remote villages of northern Laos and the serene beaches of southern Thailand. This trip has only whetted my appetite for further adventures in Southeast Asia.

As I sip my Thai iced tea and plan my next steps, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences I've had so far. Southeast Asia has proven to be a treasure trove of beauty, history, and adventure, and I can't wait to see what else this region has in store for me. Until next time, fellow travelers, keep exploring, and may your journeys be as enriching as mine!
