I was thinking about the theme for my composition for a long time and made a decision at last: I want to tell you about the funniest situation in my life.

At first, let me introduce myself! My name is Dima and I’m 12 years old. I’m a sociable person, so I adore meeting new people and finding good friends. And of course like every boy of my age I love to use the Internet! So, my story is just about it! Let’s begin!

Two months ago I met a girl on one of the most popular Russian web-sites. We were talking all day long. It seemed we had known each other for ages! We were talkingabout music, TV, computer games. She knew everything about my favorite games; she guessed the name of every TV show I like to watch. She said she liked to dance – she had been engaged in dance club since she was six. She loved cooking. She thought the “STAR WARS” were outstanding. Her favorite color was pink (I know, every third girl likes this colour but I thought it was so unusual), her favorite animals were cats and she had got one. Its name was Mary. Wow, what a striking coincidence!!! I had a cat and its name was Mary too! And then I realized that I knew many things about her, but I still did not know what her name was and what she looked like.

Last summer, I decided to take a road trip with my friends to explore the beautiful countryside. We had been planning this adventure for months, and finally, the day arrived when we set off on our journey.

As we were driving through the winding roads, the sun was shining brightly, and the scenery was breathtaking. We were all in high spirits, chatting and laughing along the way. The weather was perfect, and it seemed like nothing could go wrong.

However, as we were driving through a remote forested area, our car suddenly broke down. Smoke was billowing from the engine, and we realized that we were in trouble. We pulled over to the side of the road, and I immediately called for roadside assistance.

While we were waiting for help to arrive, we decided to explore the nearby woods. The lush green forest was a stark contrast to the hot asphalt road we had been on just moments before. Birds were chirping, and the air was filled with the soothing sounds of nature.

As we walked deeper into the forest, we stumbled upon a hidden waterfall. It was a breathtaking sight, with water cascading down from the rocks into a crystal-clear pool below. We couldn't resist the temptation to take a dip in the cool water, so we changed into our swimsuits and jumped in.

By the time we had finished swimming and exploring, the tow truck had arrived to take our car to the nearest mechanic. It turned out that the engine had overheated due to a coolant leak.

We were thankful that the breakdown had led us to discover such a beautiful natural gem. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the unexpected adventure, and when we finally got back on the road, it was with a newfound appreciation for the unpredictability of life's journey.

Looking back, that breakdown in the middle of nowhere turned out to be a memorable and enriching experience, and it taught us to embrace the unexpected twists and turns that life can throw our way.
