Butterflies are our most visible  insects because of their beauty  and mystique. Their images appear everywhere:  in clothing, jewelry, advertisements,  magazines, movies and even on television.  In warm seasons,  butterflies attract our attention as they sip nectar from flowers or fly by lazily. Entire museums  and conservatories are devoted to  helping us learn about their life  pattern. Butterflies fascinate with their metamorphosis: at first it's egg, then it turns into a caterpillar, which becomes a chrysalis later on, and finally an adult.  A majority  of butterflies need a specific  home area that contains certain  plants and vegetation conditions for  carrying on their life processes. Also, Adult butterflies are very sunlight-responsive, and can be active  throughout the daylight hours. Learning about butterflies truly has its moments of magic because this is one of the most interesting insects in the world.
