Nowadays everybody knows how important it is to be fit. I think the best way to stay fit is to take up a sport. Moreover, it is a well known fact that when we take up a sport, we learn about teamwork and discipline. Playing a sport helps to reduce stress and sleep better. It is also fun, especially if you do your sport with your friends.
When I was five, I began to attend gymnastics classes. We had classes three times a week and I liked them because we did a lot of climbing, jumping and balancing activities. But then a few years later we sarted advanced gymnastics and I got injured, so I decided to stop training.
Two years ago I joined our local volleyball club. We have three training sessions a week where we practise serving, blocking, and hitting. I love playing volleyball and I feel it has a positive influence on my body and mind. I don't need to worry about my weight and now I have a stronger immune system. Playing volleyball provides me with energy and positive emotions. I also have met new friends there. With all these benefits it is clear that this sport is great for me.

Сейчас все знают, как важно быть в хорошей физической форме. Я думаю, что лучший способ оставаться в форме - заняться спортом. Более того, общеизвестно, что когда мы занимаемся спортом, мы учимся работе в команде и дисциплине. Занятия спортом помогают снимать стресс и лучше спать. Это еще и весело, особенно если вы занимаетесь спортом с друзьями.
Когда мне было пять лет, я начал(а) заниматься гимнастикой. У нас были занятия три раза в неделю, и они мне нравились, потому что мы много лазили, прыгали и делали упражнения на равновесие. Но через несколько лет мы начали заниматься более серьезно, и я получил(а) травму, поэтому я решил(а) прекратить тренировки.
Два года назад я начал(а) заниматься в местном волейбольном клубе (секции). У нас три тренировки в неделю, где мы отрабатываем подачу, блоки и атакующие удары. Я люблю играть в волейбол и чувствую, что он оказывает положительное влияние на мое тело и ум. Мне не нужно беспокоиться о своем весе, и теперь у меня более сильная иммунная система. Игра в волейбол дает мне энергию и положительные эмоции. Я также встретил(а) там новых друзей. Со всеми этими преимуществами ясно, что этот вид спорта отлично подходит для меня.
