 In the fifties of the 20th century our country was part of the USSR, and the most popular ways to spend free time were attending lectures and concerts, taking part in concerts and sport competitions, watching films in cinemas and clubs, and dancing in clubs.

2 Do people have more hobbies now than in the past in your country?

Yes, they do, but it is mostly true about people living in towns and cities. I think nowadays we have much more different hobbies due to technological advance and greater availability of equipment and materials.

Yes, I do. Different generations should do things together because it would help them understand each other better.

4 What do the older generation think about the younger generation's hobbies in your country?

As far as I know the older people think that the younger generation has no hobbies at all. They think all we do is watching videos, playing video games, and wasting our time on social media.

I don't think we can compare the teenagers of the 1950's to the teens of today because our worlds are completely different. Today's teens know more about technology, and the invention of the internet and social media have made us less active and fit. We seldom play active games or go out with friends. We grow up more slowly.
