Одного разу ми  відпочивали на березі місцевої річки. З нами був також наш собака - Рекс. Він безтурботно обстежував прибережні кущі. Погода була дуже гарна. Згодом всі й забули про песика. 
 Раптом десь почувся його  схвильований  гавкіт. Я з друзями покинула частування та пішли на голос Рекса. Він стояв напроти якогось куща та зацікавлено його обнюхував. Коли я відхилила кущ, всі побачили гніздо дикої качки. Нарешті стало зрозуміло, чому собака підняв такий галас. Ми, звичайно, відігнали його подалі, щоб не налякати малесеньких каченяток.   З того часу вони стали для нас добрими друзями. Кожного разу повертаючись до річки я їх підгодовую. 
Ось така пригода.
