Почему социальные проблемы остаются весьма острыми в нашем обществе?

Потому, что люди не бесспокоятся за жизнь своих соседей по обитанию. Никому уже не интересно помогать другим. Все дело в самом социальном общением и отношении с друг другом. Тут не  жизнь, а выживание. И каждый борется за свою шкуру. А это глупо. Если бы общество снисходительней относилось к друг другу- жить было бы легче. Наши социальные проблемы будут уменьшаться только в том случае, если мы будем помогать своему сверстнику или просто человеку. Мы сами строим себе жизнь. А так как общество полно эгоистов- социальные  проблемы только увеличиваются. 

Общество наверно у нас такое. 
Как говорил Задорнов: 
Вот русские по одному интереснейшие разносторонние личности. А в куче стадо баранов без инициативных. 
А вот американцы наоборот, по одному баран бараном, а в куче они сила.
