Аргументы в пользу - наука помогает человеку развиваться, открывает для него новые знания, знания в первую очередь о мире, о самом человеке. Помогает человеку во всех сферах жизни, улучшает человека и даже спасает, создавая и придумывая различные технические изобретения
Аргументы против - наука иногда разрушает человека, природу. Она способна создать что-то такое, что невозможно контроллировать и что может погубить человека и даже планету

I think this is a very interesting and complex question that does not have a simple answer. Science is undoubtedly a very important and valuable aspect of human life, as it helps us to understand the world around us, to discover new phenomena, to solve problems, to improve our health, to create new technologies, and to advance our civilization. Science also has a beauty and an elegance in its methods, its theories, and its discoveries, as it reveals the harmony and the order of nature, the patterns and the connections of reality, and the creativity and the curiosity of the human mind.

However, I do not think that science is the only or the most important thing in human life. There are other aspects of human life that are equally or more important and beautiful, such as art, literature, philosophy, religion, morality, culture, history, politics, and so on. These aspects of human life deal with the questions and the values that science cannot answer or provide, such as the meaning and the purpose of life, the nature and the origin of the human being, the criteria and the principles of the good and the evil, the expression and the appreciation of the beauty and the emotion, and the organization and the direction of the society and the civilization.

Therefore, I would say that I partially agree with the writer, but I also think that science is not the only or the most important thing in human life. I think that science is one of the many important and beautiful things in human life, and that it should be balanced and integrated with other aspects of human life, such as art, literature, philosophy, religion, morality, culture, history, politics, and so on.
