The Encounter with the Sick Classmate

As I entered her room, I was immediately struck by the somber atmosphere. The room was dimly lit, with the curtains drawn to block out the sunlight. The air felt heavy with the scent of medicine and disinfectant. I could see my classmate, Anna, lying in bed, her face pale and tired. Her eyes lit up with surprise as she saw me, and she weakly smiled.

YouChat: "Hey Anna, how are you feeling?"

Anna: "Oh, hi! I'm not feeling so great. This flu has really knocked me out."

I quickly retrieved Anna's sketchbook from her backpack and handed it to her, along with a glass of water. She flipped through the pages, showing me her drawings and explaining the stories behind them. We chatted for a while, sharing stories and laughing together. It was a small moment of joy in the midst of her illness.
