О безопасности мы не можем говорить о тех веках, т.к. в прошлые века людей заставляли работать за небольшую заработную плату, детей от 6 лет и выше уже работать засталяли, на мануфактурах,на предприятиятиях и т.д.
Так было практически везде, только в России (РИ-Российской Империи) было не настолько тяжкие наказания, работать надо меньше.
