Ответы на вопрос

Who Invented the Internet and in What Year?
The internet was not invented by a single person, but rather it was developed over time through the contributions of many individuals and organizations. The precursor to the internet, known as ARPANET, was created by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the United States Department of Defense. ARPANET was the first network to use packet switching, a method of transmitting data in small packets, which is a fundamental technology of the internet.
ARPANET was established in 1969, and it connected computers at various research institutions and universities in the United States. The goal of ARPANET was to facilitate communication and data sharing among researchers. Over time, ARPANET evolved and expanded, leading to the development of the internet as we know it today.
In 1984, ARPANET transitioned to the National Science Foundation Network (NSFNET), which further expanded the network and increased its capacity. By 1992, the internet had grown significantly, with thousands of networks and millions of users worldwide. In 1995, the NSFNET was decommissioned, and the internet became a commercialized and globally accessible network.
Therefore, it is not accurate to attribute the invention of the internet to a single person or organization. Instead, it was a collaborative effort involving various individuals and institutions over several decades.
