Потому что кругом одно жлобьё, которое привыкло всё покупать и всё продавать, всё только за деньги!  подобные люди не могут оказывать бескорыстной помощи или делать добро априори. Только если они  видят в оконцовке приличное вознаграждение. Тех же, кто готов на добрые поступки безвозмездно, жлобы чаще всего приравнивают к Лохам.
