Сказка -является полностью выдуманной (за исключением характеров героев, такие стереотипы, как лиса - хитрец, всем известны и наверняка каждый встречал таких) . И в конце обычно мораль (не всегда прямо, но все же мораль есть во всех сказках) . 
Былина основывается на исторических событиях, однако у героев часто видна идеализация - сверхеловеческая сила или великая мудрость, которых в реальной жизни у героя возможно и не было в такой мере. Естественно, былина со временем приобретает оттенок сказки, но все же имеет историческую основу.
