Жили были кот, лиса, да медведь и там уж и петух. Они были все лучшими друзьями, но никак не могли смириться, что они различные животные. Однажды медведь послал их за мёдом, сильно сладкого Мишке захотелось. Петух, лиса и кот пошли на поиски сладкого мёда: тут-то они и пришли. Увидев улей со стаями пчёлами, в котором находился мёд которого просил Миша, они испугались.
-- Ну что-ж, -сказал кот, ради друзей на всё готовы.
Они пока что стояли пару минут в кустах, смотря на этот улей. И вдруг заявился медведь, ни с кем не знакомый и в одиночку. Тогда прилетела неожиданно добрая фея, увидев их из под кустов.
-- Здравствуйте! -- сказала доброжелательно феечка, я избавлюсь от этого медведя и помогу Вам вытащить мёда. 
Закончила разговор сказочная фея, и рукой махнула, и тут же пропал злобный медведь. Махнула ещё раз своей маленькой ручонкой и ярко стало солнышко светить, деревья совсем зелёные, растут ягоды, цветы и много-много ульев. Петух обратил внимание на её сказочный образ: маленькое платице, сделанное словно из листьев. Маленькие крылышки, как у какой-то бабочки, и её тонкие ручонки.
-- Держите, -- воскликнула радостно феечка, держите мёд! А теперь прощайте! Знайте, добро всегда прийдёт в нужные минуты.
