только они не зимуют ЛЕТуют посколько именно сейчас там открывается сезон иследований. 
В Анктартиде запрещена любая деятельность, кроме научной, там есть почти все полезные ископаемые но их запрещено добывать ВСЕМ. 
там почти нет людей и можно испытать ядерное оружие, но это тож ЗАПРЕЩЕНО. 
никто не имеет права претендовать на эту турриторию, хотя официально об её открытии доложили Белисгаузен и Лазарев, а исландские китобои били китов у побережья ещё раньше.
