ДВА ДРУГА И ЧЕРТЖили-были два друга. Имена у них были интересные. Одного звали Спидавай, потому что он одной фразой – «Спи, давай!» мог усыпить любого зверя, птицу или человека. Второго величали – Небардачь, потому что он любил порядок и мог словами «Не бардачь» заставить предметы передвигаться, складываться, зашиваться, ремонтироваться и вставать на свои места.Однажды пошли друзья в соседние земли, за темные леса, за высокие горы. Шли долго, и к ночи дорога привела их к лесу. Лес был высокий и темный. Дикие звери страшно рычали. Друзьям стало не по себе, но надо было идти дальше. Набардачь дал команду: «Не бардачь!», и тут же луна засияла ярче, дорога по лесу стала прямой, а лес расступился. Спидавай крикнул несколько раз: «Спи, давай!», и в лесу стало тихо. Все птицы, звери сразу уснули. Без хлопот и опаски они прошли через лес и к утру подошли к деревне.В деревне жили крестьяне. Они были печальны и расстроены, их дети плакали.– Что случилось? – спросили друзья. Крестьяне наперебой рассказали, что к ним приходит черт и отбирает все съестные запасы и забирает детей к себе. Спидавай и Небардачь пошли к тому месту, где появлялся Черт. Спидавай и Небардачь очень боялись, но им хотелось помочь бедным крестьянам.Вдруг они увидели перед собой Черта. В руках у него была корявая стопудовая дубина. Он тоже увидел двух друзей. Они что-то кричали. Черт не слышал, но ему стало любопытно. Он наклонился. Спидавай собрал все свои силы и крикнул прямо в ухо: «Спи, давай!» Черт выпрямился, широко зевнул и, пошатываясь, залез к себе в нору и крепко уснул. «Не бардачь!» – сказал Небардачь. И все что Черт забрал у крестьян стало складываться в телеги, которые сами покатились в деревню. Дети послушно пошли следом. Небардачь еще раз крикнул свою волшебную фразу, и огромная гора закрыла навеки вход в нору Черта.Так Спидавай и Небардачь помогли крестьянам. На следующий день они вернулись домой. В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.
