В целом, в мире появилась тенденция к полнометражности. Фильмы 20 века- фильмы разнообразные по жанру, но короткометражные; сейчас мы можем увидеть полноценное двухчасовое кино, наслаждаться сериалом, сагой, сиквелом и так далее.

Большая часть фильмов начала и середины 20 века- зарубежные (Франция, Великобритания), сейчас же на первом месте Американский Голливуд.

С развитием технологий стало возможным снимать прекрасные и реалистичные фильмы в жанре фэнтази, фантастики и в жанре ужасы. В связи с этим, появились новые требования, прежде всего, к актерам,  которые вынуждены сниматься просто на фоне зеленой стены.

Самый большой шаг в киноиндустрии, на мой взгляд, произошел не так давно; речь идет о толерантности. Мир развивается, и кино идет в ногу со временем- в него так или иначе проникают мировые тенденции. Под толерантностью я подразумеваю- терпимость и разнообразие; даже лауреатом премии Оскар за лучший фильм (одной из самых престижных премий) в ближайшее время не сможет стать кинолента, в которой не соблюдаются принципы толерантности: расовое, половое, религиозное разнообразие.
