Почему древесину бальсы так трудно добывать?помогите

Древесину бальсы  очень трудно добывать.Не все деревья пригодны для заготовки древесины. Самое хорошее качество у древесины  бальсы возрастом 6-10 лет,диаметр ствола не должен превышать115см, а высота должна быть примерно 27 м.. Бальса растет в самой густой части  джунглей, а туда трудно добраться.Надо  найти скопление деревьев ,а это очень трудно,ведь бальсы - на огромных расстояниях друг от друга и уже срубленные их трудно доставлять через джунгли. Несколько стволов связывают вместе и сплавляют их вниз  по горным рекам.Перетаскивают деревья  волами. Рубят  бальсы  вручную. У каждого дровосека - большой испанский топор , мачете и длинный шест с заостренным наконечником, им сбивают кору. На лесопилках бревна режут на доски, хорошо просушивают.
