Dear (name),

Thanks a lot for your last letter. It was great to hear from you. Sorry I haven't written for so long as I was busy.

In your last letter you asked me some question. Well, there are a lot of languages, but I think Chinese is the most popular nowadays. If you know it, you will have a good job. In our school we learn (one/two/three) language(s). I'm not going to enter some course as I have no much time.

Well, I'd better go now as I have a lot of homework to do. Write me back.

Best wishes,

(name)

If you are already learning French as your first foreign language, it is great that you are interested in learning a second one. Choosing a second language depends on your personal interests and goals. However, I would recommend considering Spanish as your second language.

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with over 460 million native speakers. It is the official language in 21 countries, including Spain, Mexico, and many countries in Central and South America. Learning Spanish would not only give you the ability to communicate with a large number of people but also open up opportunities for travel, work, and cultural exploration.

Additionally, Spanish and French share some similarities, such as vocabulary and grammatical structures. This means that learning Spanish after French may be easier for you, as you can build upon the knowledge and skills you have already acquired.

As for the number of languages studied at school, it varies depending on the educational system. Some schools offer multiple language options, while others focus on one or two languages. It would be helpful to check with your school to see what language courses they offer and if there are any prerequisites or requirements.

If you are interested in further language learning, you could consider entering a language course outside of school. Language courses provide a structured learning environment and often have experienced teachers who can guide you in your language journey. It is a great way to improve your skills and gain confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the language you choose.

Overall, learning a second foreign language is a valuable skill that can broaden your horizons and enhance your future opportunities. Good luck with your language learning journey!
