1. Why  people like taking pictures... 
To my mind not all  people like taking pictures.
But some of them really like doing it. 
I think first of all they are eager to save memories of some happy moments that take place in their life. It usually happens when they meet face to face with nature and see amazing sights or they take part in some interesting events with their friends or relatives. People want to share their joy, amazement and happiness with someone else or to recollect their past emotions later on in future. I am sure these are the main reasons why most people like taking pictures.
2. Taking photos is more popular today than it was in the past. 
On the one hand nowadays people travel more than it was in the past. Besides new cameras are getting better and better, than they were in the past. Now even a mobile phone brings new opportunities and makes the process of getting pics. much easier for everyone. With technical progress on, old technics have been left in the past. This is my point of view as far as the second item of taking photos is concerned.
3 To conclude, as for my best photo I have chosen the photo of our family having a picnic by the lake on a warm sunny day last summer because it reminds me of the best moments in our family life when we meet nature face to face.

Думаю, в первую очередь они стремятся сохранить счастливые моменты, которые происходят в их жизни. Обычно это происходит, когда они встречаются лицом к лицу с природой и видят удивительные достопримечательности или участвуют в каких-то интересных событиях со своими друзьями или родственниками. Люди хотят поделиться своей радостью, изумлением и счастьем с кем-то еще или вспомнить свои прошлые эмоции позже в будущем. Я уверен это основные причины, почему большинство людей любят фотографировать.

2. Фотографирование сегодня популярнее, чем в прошлом.

С одной стороны, сегодня люди путешествуют больше, чем в прошлом. К тому же новые камеры становятся все лучше и лучше, чем в прошлом. Теперь даже мобильный телефон приносит новые возможности и делает процесс получения фото намного проще для всех.  С техническим прогрессом  старые методы остались в прошлом. Это моя точка зрения в отношении второго пункта популярности съемки фото.

3 В заключение, что касается моей лучшей фотографии, я выбрал фотографию нашей семьи, устроившей пикник на берегу озера в солнечный теплый день прошлым летом, потому что она напоминает мне о лучших моментах нашего семейного отдыха на природе.
