Исчесляемые и неисчесляемые существительные.

 Countable Nouns - существительные которые можно сосчитать

Пример: a tank, two tanks, three tanks, four tanks. A book, five books и т.д. 

Такие существительные имеют единственное и множественное число.

 Uncountable Nouns -  уществительные которые не могут быть сосчитаны.

Water, work, information, coffee, sand.

Некоторые неисчесляемые существительные относятся к группам определенных вещей/ предметов.

Например слова Tables, chairs, cupboards сгруппированы под общим понятием furniture.
