Quite recently we (have been done, had done, have done, were doing)... research into various cities around the world and it seems that your city is quite similar to ours. Let me tell you something about it, in case you (were not hearing, haven't heard, hadn't heard, haven't been heard)... the name before! It is in the north of England and its industry is making cars. I expect you might have seen some of the cars which (are making, have made, were being made, are made)... here. We also have a very good theatre and a number of cinemas. And last year a new sport center (has been built, was built, was building, built)... . We understand that your city is also a nice place to visit. I think it would be great if an arrangement for exchange visits could be set up. We (have already found, had already found, were already finding, are already found)... many families here who would be happy to receive students from your school and many of us (had looked, were looking, are looking, will be looked)... forward to visiting your city.
