“Who are you?” Vinney’s mother asked. “I’m your son, Vinney.” “No, my boy has got ears. He has got
a nose too. He has got eight purple fingers and six purple toes. You are not my boy.” Then Vinney took out (вынул) his nose and put it where his ears were. Then he took out his ears and put them where his nose was. Then he took out his toes and put them where his fingers were. Then he took out his fingers and put them where his toes were. “It’s me! It’s me!” cried Vinney. “That is my boy” his mother said. And she kissed him.

Vinney's mother stared at him in disbelief as he stood before her, claiming to be her son. She couldn't comprehend how this boy in front of her, with no ears and no nose, could possibly be her beloved Vinney.
"I'm your son, Vinney," he said, his voice filled with desperation.
"No, my boy has got ears. He has got a nose too," his mother replied, her voice tinged with sadness and confusion. "He has got eight purple fingers and six purple toes. You are not my boy."
Determined to prove his identity, Vinney reached into his pocket and took out his nose, placing it where his ears should have been. A strange sight indeed, but he was willing to do whatever it took to convince his mother.
Then, he carefully removed his ears and positioned them where his nose used to be. His actions were bizarre, but he was willing to go to any lengths to show his mother that it was truly him.
Not stopping there, Vinney proceeded to take off his shoes and socks, revealing his toes. He delicately detached each toe, one by one, and positioned them where his fingers were supposed to be.
Finally, he took out his fingers and placed them where his toes had once been. The transformation was complete, and Vinney stood before his mother, a mismatched arrangement of body parts.
"It's me! It's me!" cried Vinney, his voice filled with relief and hope.
His mother's eyes widened as she finally recognized the familiar features, albeit in an unusual arrangement. A smile spread across her face, and tears welled up in her eyes.
"That is my boy," she said, her voice choked with emotion. Overcome with joy, she rushed forward and enveloped Vinney in a tight embrace, showering him with kisses.
In that moment, it didn't matter that Vinney's appearance was unconventional. The love and connection between a mother and her child transcended physical appearances. Vinney had proven his identity, not through ordinary means, but through his unwavering determination and his willingness to do whatever it took to be recognized.
From that day forward, Vinney's mother never doubted his identity again. They cherished their bond, knowing that their love could overcome any obstacle, even if it meant rearranging body parts in the most peculiar way.
