Aesop, a Greek philosopher, was renowned for his wit. On a certain day, while Aesop was taking a stroll, he encountered a lost man who greeted him and inquired, "How long will it take me to get to the town?" Aesop replied, "Go," but the traveler failed to grasp the meaning. "I know I have to go," the man reiterated, restating his question. However, Aesop's response remained unchanged. "Go," he politely reiterated. Perplexed, the traveler departed, concluding, "The man is mad."

As the traveler proceeded some distance, Aesop called out, "You will get to the town in two hours." The traveler returned to Aesop and questioned, "Why didn't you tell me that earlier?" Aesop explained, "I did not inform you because I did not know how fast you could walk."
