Dear Jo,

I hope this letter finds you well. I safely arrived back home two weeks ago, and the flight, though a bit lengthy, went smoothly. I managed to watch two films and enjoyed two breakfasts during the journey! Thank you for everything; I had a truly delightful time with you in London, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Everything here is markedly different from London. As I write this letter, I am sitting outside in the garden under a big umbrella to shield myself from the scorching sun. While I recall having some sunny days in London, there were also occasional rains. Today, however, the sun is particularly hot.

Getting back to work after such a wonderful holiday was a bit challenging, but things have settled now. I am in a new department since I returned, and it's proving to be quite interesting. I have a new manager, which is a positive change because the previous one was rather difficult to work with.

On a different note, do you like rock music? My brother has become a drummer in a new music group. Currently, he practices in his bedroom, and it can get quite loud at times! I've just sent you some of his cassettes; I hope you enjoy them.

By the way, have you come across a black leather photo album? I think I might have left it in the bedroom during my stay. If you find it, could you please send it to me sometime? No rush.
