One night I had a nightmare that I lived in an old house in the suburbs. It was a rainy autumn day. I came home from school when my parents were still at work. I went to my room, opened my wardrobe and there, in the dark corner, I saw two big green eyes staring at me. I slammed the door of the wardrobe, ran out of my room and closed the door of the room. I was terrified and tried to think clearly. Who or what could that be there? I had no idea. Right then to my horror I heard loud scratching coming from the other side of the door! I looked down and saw a huge hairy paw with three long claws coming from under the door. I screamed and woke up.

Just as the creature lunged forward, ready to strike, Lily woke up, drenched in sweat and gasping for air. It took her a few moments to realize that it was only a nightmare, but the fear still lingered in her mind.

From that night on, Lily had trouble falling asleep, fearing that the nightmare might return. She began to understand the power of dreams and the impact they can have on our emotions. It was a reminder that sometimes our deepest fears can manifest themselves in our dreams, but it's up to us to face them and overcome them.

Despite her fear, Lily found the courage to confront her nightmares, knowing that they were only figments of her imagination. And as she grew older, she learned to embrace her dreams, both the good and the bad, as a part of her own unique journey through life.
