A couple of years ago my family and I moved into a new house. It is a nice two-storeyed brick building with a green roof and a high chimney. The house is surrounded with a spacious garden where we plant fruit, vegetables and flowers.

The ground floor of the house is much busier than the first one. Here you can find a hall, a large living-room with a fireplace, a cosy dining-room connected with a kitchen, a bathroom. The unique feature of the ground floor and the real pride of our house is its winter garden where tropical kinds of plants and flowers grow all year round. We should be thankful to our mother for this garden which is the most beautiful corner in the whole house. Undoubtedly, she has a green thumb.

The first floor is a calm and quiet place. There are three small bedrooms, a library, a bathroom and a balcony upstairs. The library is equipped with lots of bookshelves, two comfortable armchairs, a desk and an office chair. In the bedrooms there are beds, wardrobes, mirrors. When the weather is fine we bring chairs and a table to the balcony and enjoy warm evenings outside.

We live in a small two-bedroom apartment with two bedrooms. One of it belongs to me and the other to my parents. There is a hall in which there is a TV, a coffee table and a sofa. The best place is the kitchen. Each room is full of beautiful flowers. Almost all the furniture in our house is made by dad’s hands. We have very beautiful cabinets, carved table and chairs. I have the smallest room. On the walls of blue Wallpaper, the ceiling resembles the sky. On windows the blue curtains. On one side of the room is a very beautiful desk with a place for a computer and complements its very beautiful and comfortable carved chair. I love my home very much. It is very comfortable and quiet.

All the rooms have large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The neighborhood where my house is located is very peaceful and family-friendly. There are many parks and green spaces nearby, perfect for outdoor activities. The streets are lined with trees, and there are sidewalks for pedestrians to walk safely. There is also a community center within walking distance, which offers various sports and recreational activities for all ages. In terms of amenities, there are grocery stores, restaurants, and a shopping mall within a short driving distance. Public transportation is easily accessible, with bus stops and a train station nearby. Overall, my house and its surroundings offer a comfortable and convenient living environment.
