Elspeth Beard, the renowned architect, resides in an extraordinary house in the southern part of England, near Surrey. Her unique home is a century-old water tower standing at a height of 130 feet, featuring six floors. On the ground floor, you'll find a reception room. The first, second, and third floors are dedicated to bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. The fourth floor houses the kitchen, and the living room is located on the fifth floor. To reach the rooftop, you'll have to climb 142 steps, while the kitchen can be accessed via 88 steps, and the living room requires climbing 113 steps. Surprisingly, there is no elevator, but this absence provides an excellent workout for the residents – the price they pay for living in such an elevated location.
