"You put something into Emily's water bottle," Jack accused Dawson, his voice filled with anger and concern. "I saw you. I'm going to tell Emily, and then we're going to involve the police."

Dawson, feigning innocence, replied, "I don't know what you mean." She turned away from Jack and walked down to the lake, leaving him standing there, determined to protect Emily from any harm that might come her way.
