1) If I earned more money, I would buy a more expensive present for my mother.

The original sentence is in the present tense, expressing a real condition. To change it to a unreal condition in the present tense, we use the past simple tense in the if-clause and the conditional would + base form of the verb in the main clause. Therefore, the revised sentence is:

If I earned more money, I would buy a more expensive present for my mother.

2) If her parents bought earrings for her, my cousin would pierce her ears.

The original sentence is in the future tense, expressing a real condition. To change it to an unreal condition in the future tense, we use the past simple tense in the if-clause and the conditional would + base form of the verb in the main clause. Therefore, the revised sentence is:

If her parents bought earrings for her, my cousin would pierce her ears.

3) If I worked in the garden, I would put on my old jeans.

The original sentence is in the present tense, expressing a real condition. To change it to an unreal condition in the present tense, we use the past simple tense in the if-clause and the conditional would + base form of the verb in the main clause. Therefore, the revised sentence is:

If I worked in the garden, I would put on my old jeans.

4) If she were invited to the New Year party, she would wear a fancy costume.

The original sentence is in the present tense, expressing a real condition. To change it to an unreal condition in the present tense, we use the past simple tense of the verb "to be" (were) in the if-clause and the conditional would + base form of the verb in the main clause. Therefore, the revised sentence is:

If she were invited to the New Year party, she would wear a fancy costume.
