My worst holiday
I was eight years old when my grandparents took me to the seaside. We went to Zatoka in the Odessa region. At first everything was great there: we went to the beach twice a day, swam a lot and sunbathed. My grandpa bought me ice-cream and soda and my favourite treat - boiled corn cob. I was happy. The only sad thing was that I missed my parents but I phoned them every evening.
The bad thing happened at the end of our holiday. The sea was a bit rough and a wave covered me when I was swimming, so I swallowed a lot od sea water. In the evening I felt sick. I had a high temperature and felt so bad that I was taken to hospital. I spent two days there and then my grandparents took me home. That was the end of our holiday - the worst holiday in my life.

Best Holiday:

One of my best holidays was a trip I took with my closest friends to Bali, Indonesia. We had been planning this vacation for months, and the excitement was palpable. It was a group of six of us, all of whom had known each other for years, and we were looking forward to creating unforgettable memories together.

We flew into Bali and checked into a beautiful villa near Seminyak. The villa had a private pool, lush gardens, and a serene ambiance that instantly put us in a relaxed mood. Over the course of our trip, we explored many places in Bali, including the iconic Tanah Lot temple, the mesmerizing rice terraces in Ubud, and the stunning waterfalls in Munduk. We also spent a few days surfing and enjoying the crystal-clear waters at some of the best beaches on the island.

What made this holiday so special was the camaraderie we shared as friends. We laughed, joked, and had heart-to-heart conversations late into the night. Every morning, we'd gather around a table, trying various local delicacies, and planning our adventures for the day. It was an escape from the stresses of everyday life and a chance to truly be ourselves in the company of people who knew us best.

Worst Holiday:

My worst holiday was a trip to a coastal town with my extended family. While the idea of spending time together sounded great, the actual experience turned out to be quite unpleasant. The group was quite large, consisting of nearly twenty family members, ranging from different age groups and backgrounds. The conflicting interests and preferences made it difficult to plan activities that everyone would enjoy.

The location itself was picturesque, but the accommodation we had booked wasn't up to the mark. The rooms were cramped, and there were not enough amenities for such a large group. This led to constant complaints and bickering among family members, creating a tense atmosphere throughout the trip.

Since everyone wanted to do something different, we ended up going our separate ways most of the time. This lack of togetherness defeated the purpose of a family holiday, and I felt disheartened that we couldn't find common ground or spend quality time with one another.

Furthermore, the trip was marred by numerous mishaps, from missed transportation to bad weather ruining our plans. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did go wrong, leaving me feeling stressed and disappointed.

In the end, the holiday felt more like an obligation than a joyful escape. I returned home exhausted and disheartened, wishing we had planned better and chosen a destination that suited everyone's interests. It taught me the importance of clear communication and compromise when traveling with a large group.
