My name is Anita and I’m 14 years old. I’m a high school student now at the school number 125. I live in Yekaterinburg with my parents and my younger brother. My grandparents live far from us. It takes an hour and a half to reach them by car. Our city is large and beautiful. I like living there. However during the holidays we often travel. It’s a good tradition in every way. We get to see new places and sights. At the same time after a week or two I understand how much I miss the city, the school and my friends.

This summer we had an exciting adventure. Together with my parents and brother I travelled to Spain. It is a fantastic country, full of interesting sights for tourists. The place we stayed was called Costa Dorada, which means “gold sand” in Spanish. It’s a famous beach resort not far from Barcelona, so we got to see most of the sights of this wonderful city.

The sight that I liked most of all was La Sagrada Familia - the Church of the Holly Family. It was designed by a great Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. I’ve never seen such a huge and complex temple before. It took us almost a day to explore it. When you look at it from a different angle it reminds a cave with various formations rather than a church. From its observation deck we could see nearly all parts of Barcelona. The view was stunning.

Apart from touring this magical city, we spent lots of time at the coastline of Costa Dorada swimming, sunbathing and simply relaxing.

It was a great holiday I should say. Two weeks passed so quickly that we didn’t even notice.

Этим летом у нас было потрясающее приключение. Вместе с родителями и братом я ездила в Испанию. Это сказочная страна, в которой полно интересных достопримечательностей для туристов. Место, где мы остановились, называлось Коста-Дорада, что на испанском языке означает «золотой песок». Это известный пляжный курорт недалеко от Барселоны, поэтому нам удалось посмотреть большинство достопримечательностей этого прекрасного города.

Объект, который мне понравился больше всего, это Саграда Фамилия - Собор Святого Семейства. Он был спроектирован известным испанским архитектором Антонио Гауди. Я никогда раньше не видела такого огромного и замысловатого храма. На то, чтобы исследовать его у нас ушел почти день. Если смотреть на него под другим углом он напоминает скорее пещеру с различными образованиями, а не церковь. С его смотровой площадки мы смогли увидеть почти всю Барселону. Вид был потрясающий.

Помимо посещения этого изумительного города, мы провели много времени на пляжах Коста-Дорады, плавая, загорая и просто отдыхая.

Должна признаться, это был отличный отпуск. Две недели прошли так быстро, что мы даже не заметили.
